Lactic Acid
Lactic Acid, a member of the family Alpha Hydroxyl Acid (AHA) family, is derived from natural foods, such as milk. Lactic acid is known for its beneficial exfoliating properties on the outermost layer of the skin. Due to its high water-retention characteristics, lactic acid can inhibit hand dryness and a skin flaking when applied topically.1 In addition, lactic acid can help improve skin tone evenness by enhancing skin cell turnover.2

Aloe Vera Extract Powder
Aloe Vera extract possesses a wide variety of essential vitamins, such as vitamin A, B, C, and E, that work together to provide antioxidant protection, moisturizing, and skin-soothing properties. 3 Aloe Vera can work as a natural remedy for acne and acne scarring. The antimicrobial properties of Aloe Vera help to prevent acne and reduce the redness and inflammation that acne causes.

Glycerin can be derived naturally from plants and animals, or manufactured synthetically. Glycerin can help to improve skin-hydration, as well as having soothing effects due to the similarities it shares with the skins physical properties. As glycerin naturally attracts water, it promotes moisture retention and increases skin hydration when applied topically. Consequentially, such skin-hydrating benefits will help assists in alleviating irritating symptoms.4,5,6
